The Blue Sidewalk

The blue sidewalk
was a little sad

with pedestrians sleeping on it
and others stepping on the cracks

all day long. The stars above
were sleeping as well

or found another earth to shine for.
Extra sad,

the blue sidewalk disappeared
at the corner of First and Broadway.
