“Grow grass,

stone frogs,”

written on bathroom walls.

Hippie beads, oodles

colorful acid pills

in dresser draws,

no clothes,

kaleidoscope condoms,

ostentatious sex.

No Bibles or Sundays

that anyone remembers.

eardrums and police sirens come on.
