RECURRING TEARS – Racheal Chie (from MUTARE ZIMBABWE)

Recurring Tears

It’s as if I committed a sin in my past life

And the one I’m living is the sentence

Wondering when the pain will come to a full stop

Seems to get relief I will have to fall into a coma

In order to get a breather, already had an opener

 Just need a closing remark

I must have hurt someone very badly

Cause now they want me to die very slowly

That's why this life is like death by ''hanging around''

Like an autumn leaf falls to the ground

When I give up my bed cause I feel restless

Nevertheless been lying there lifeless the whole day

Downgrading from the floor to six feet

So I can hit the ground running till I get to that finish line

Since they say life is a journey
